The signing ceremony for a Strategic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Visual Research and Azabu Production of Japan was held on December 2 in the main conference room at Visual Research headquarters.
Azabu Production is the third-largest post-production company in Japan, responsible for the final editing of dramas and entertainment programs for major terrestrial broadcasters such as Asahi TV and TV Tokyo. The company has recently adopted Visual Research’s KarismaCG as its primary CG system, further strengthening its close cooperative relationship with Visual Research.
Through this agreement, the two companies agreed to enhance their existing partnership and explore a wide range of collaborative opportunities, including digital tapeless projects and the development of new value-added businesses.
Hideki Fujimoto, Vice President of Azabu Production, commented,
“We have great confidence in Visual Research’s technology, which is far more advanced than that currently available in Japan. We hope this agreement will serve as a strong driving force for the growth of both companies.”
